The on-line catalogue can be accessed by region, Special Offers, Recommended list or a search request.

By Region
You can choose to display the whiskies in a particular region, by selecting the product category in the left-hand menu, for example Lowland. The available whiskies for that category will then be displayed.

Special Offers or Recommended
The Special Offers list consists of whiskies that are exceptionally good value for money and in many cases have been heavily discounted. The Recommended list is a listing of whiskies that particularly recommended as gifts or for novice whisky drinkers.

Search
The facility (accessed from the left menu) searches the product database for key words entered. 

To view further information about a particular whisky from a whisky list click on the whisky name. To order a particular whisky from the list click on the Add to Basket image.
 

Add to basket
When you are ready to purchase a particular whisky from a whisky list you can add it to the basket by clicking on the basket icon. Additionally when viewing a single whisky you can select the Buy image to put the requested bottle in your shopping basket.

Basket
You can remove any items from the basket (by selecting Remove next to the specific whisky to be deleted) or you can increase the quantity to be ordered. Note that you must click Recalculate for the system to register the increased quantity. Also you can go off to other product pages to view other products and then return to the basket later - your current order will be saved.
 

When you have chosen all the goods that you wish to purchase you should select Buy now, where you will need to supply your purchasing and delivery details including credit/debit card information.
 

Sohowhisky is currently only shipping to addresses in the United Kingdom. Delivery time is normally 7 - 10 days, unless otherwise specified.

Delivery charges  are as follows:

£7.00 for 1 to 12 bottles
£14.00 for 13 to 24 bottles
£21.00 for 25 to 36 bottles
£28.00 for 37 to 48 bottles

On orders greater than 48 bottles, shipping will be charged on-line at a flat rate of £35.00.

All prices are shown in pounds Sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges are additional - see above.

We accept payment on-line by debit or credit card. Currently we accept the following debit and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, JCB, Solo and Eurocard

Secure payment
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. The site supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for all order payment details. Sohowhisky.com uses the Worldpay secure online payment system with direct transmission to NatWest Bank. Your credit card details are entered directly onto the Worldpay server using encryption. No credit card details whatsoever are held by the site or its operating company. When you are entering credit card details you will see the following padlock displayed at the bottom, right hand side of your browser indicating that a secure session is in progress.

Availability and condition of whisky
The purpose of our site is to provide an easy and enjoyable way of finding and selecting very special and rare whiskies as well as everyday drinking whiskies. Our goal is to enable you to make an informed choice by providing tasting notes and bottle photographs where available.

Despite our best efforts to maintain stock records we are occasionally unable to fulfill an order, or given the rare nature of many whiskies replace broken or otherwise damaged whiskies.

Refund policy
We will provide a full refund if any whiskies turn out to be different from those ordered. All refunds will be provided as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days of the agreement to refund. We will ask for the items to be returned and the costs incurred will, of course, be credited to you.

Claims for breakages
Carriers must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We must have confirmation of these breakages or shortages at the time of delivery, either by fax, email or post.

Returns and damage in transit
We are insured against broken or damaged whiskies in transit and can therefore give refunds as long as you notify us immediately.

We will NOT accept returns and give refunds where the whisky ordered is supplied correctly.

Security
All SohoWhisky transactions take place in a secure environment and use secure online encryption of all credit/debit card details.

Statutory rights
These terms do not affect your statutory rights if you are purchasing as a consumer.
